Growing in the Garden: Seed Search
October 6, 2015 |
“Growing in the Garden” is a year-round hands-on art program for pre-schoolers and their caregivers, meeting twice a month at Macculloch Hall Historical Museum (MHHM). Each program includes a story, walk in the garden, and an art project. Programs take place the first and third Tuesday of each month, and two session times are available, 1:15 - 2pm and 3:45 - 4:30pm.
On Tuesday, October 6th the theme is “Seed Search” and children can search for seeds in the garden and hear a Native American story about them. After the story and time in the garden, children will make homemade seed treats to take home to share with their backyard birds.
