Reed Decoy Making Class @ Genesee Country Village & Museum
August 13, 2022 |
Join Tonia
Galban of the Mohawk Nation Bear Clan for a day-long class and learn how to
craft your own reed duck decoy, much like the Indigenous reed decoys featured
in our newest exhibit, Duck, Duck,
Shoot! The Story of American Waterbirds. Learn from Tonia
about the history of this Indigenous technology as you craft a unique reed
decoy to bring home with you. And don't forget to explore Duck, Duck, Shoot! after your session to view
examples of these Indigenous artifacts!

participate.
