SEARCH is seeking to immediately hire a Graphic Designer based out of SEARCH's Hampton Roads office in Williamsburg, Virginia. Responsibilities will be primarily technical report design and formatting, as well as the design of websites, presentations, public interpretation/museum displays, and general office management duties. This will be a full-time, salaried, mid-level position with opportunities for advancement to senior-level.

Applicants should have a B.A. or Master's level degree, five years professional experience, demonstrated proficiency in MS Word publishing and document formatting, MS Office Pro suite, PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Acrobat. The successful applicant will have a clean, professional design sensibility, a highly developed capacity for attention to detail, be organized and able to work well on multiple simultaneous projects, and be able to meet deadlines. Experience in cultural resource management, magazine or scientific journal layout/design, cartography, and preparation of deliverables for the DoD and DOT is preferred.
