Frank Lloyd Wrights masterwork, Fallingwater has an opening for a Director of Preservation. The Director is responsible for the preservation program which includes the care of the historic Frank Lloyd Wright buildings and other historic structures at the site, the care and management of its collections through supervision of a part time Curator of Collections and the cultural landscape. This position is located in Mill Run, PA and reports to the Vice President/Director of Fallingwater.
Qualifications include a minimum of a masters degree in architecture, preservation or art history with a focus in architectural history or related field (required), and 3-5 years of preservation or museum curatorial experience. Must have excellent writing skills, excellent attention to detail, prior management/supervisory experience, and excellent computer skills. Grant writing experience is strongly preferred. This is a full time position offering an excellent salary and benefits package and the chance to work to preserve an architectural masterpiece.
