Tipton-Haynes State Historic Site is presenting its annual SUMMERS PAST HISTORY PROGRAM for young people ages 6 –14. Three five-day sessions will be offered beginning June 12-16, June 19-23, and June 26-30. Historic based crafts, music, drama, storytelling, nature hikes, cave exploration, open hearth cooking, and outdoor fun and games will be offered. Session I will focus on the Native Americans, Session II on the Early Settlement of the Region, and Session III will have activities related to the Civil War. The three sessions will be limited to 20 participants. The sessions will run from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. You can drop off campers at 8:00 a.m. at no additional cost and after care is available from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at a cost of $3 per hour for each child. The cost for each session is $100 for non-members and $90 for members.  A reduced fee is given for additional children of the same family.
