Workshop Positions Available, Window Woman of New England, Inc. (Amesbury, MA)
Window Woman of New England, Inc. is in our fourteenth year in business and we have more work than we can handle! We are looking for some old house lovers who want to get hands on with preservation and restore windows. Yes, there will be paint scraping, and sanding, and repairs. We train everyone to replace broken sash cords, weather strip, replace broken glass, do traditional putty glazing, etc. etc. In our area of the country (just north of Boston) we work on windows from houses built 1735 to 1960. To say you need to be a problem solver is a huge understatement. Our most successful hires have an artistic sense to understand that restored windows may not be perfect, that they need to retain some character. Our work is very dirty, and very rewarding.

To apply please send resume and cover letter (the letter  is 100% more important than the resume) to Alison Hardy at ahardy@window-woman-ne.com

We are an equal opportunity employer. We offer benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, holiday pay, and workshop access.

Keywords: windows, restoration, workshop, employment
