Position: Buildings and Grounds Specialist

Brucemore, a museum property of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, is seeking a Buildings and Grounds Specialist to assist with the preservation maintenance of seven historic structures and 26 acres of historic gardens and grounds. The position requires frequent hands-on building and grounds maintenance work involving power tools and equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with historic structures and materials, knowledge of historic preservation best practices, and the ability to complete a broad range of landscape maintenance tasks.
Education, experience, and other requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience and training in building maintenance, landscaping, equipment maintenance, and/or HVAC systems required.
- Experience and/or training with historic building preservation maintenance and/or cultural landscape maintenance preferred.
