Architectural Historian, Commonwealth Heritage Group (Milwaukee, WI)
Commonwealth Heritage Group, Inc. (www.commonwealthheritagegroup.com) is seeking a qualified architectural historian for a full-time position in our Milwaukee, Wisconsin, office.  The ideal candidate will possess the following: a masters degree in historic preservation or related field, such as history, architectural history, or public history; at least one year of experience conducting historic research and historic resources surveys and evaluating the historic and architectural significance of properties under National Register of Historic Places criteria; a solid understanding of the Section 106 compliance process for large federal undertakings; and the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.  Strong research and writing skills and experience in Wisconsin and other Midwestern states are a plus.  Travel will be required.
