National Register and Tax Incentives Coordinator, NH Division of Historical Resources (Concord, NH)

The Division of Historical Resources (DHR) is seeking a highly-qualified professional to fill the position of National Register and Tax Incentives Coordinator. This is a full-time position in a busy State Historic Preservation Office in Concord, NH. A strong architectural history background and successful experience working with the National Register of Historic Places Program and implementing the US Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties are essential.

Preferred qualifications include expertise in the diverse historical resources of the Northeast, a proven track record of excellent organizational skills and communicating with the public, and experience working with or in a state historic preservation office. This position provides technical assistance to all of the DHR’s programs and staff; the ability to work creatively within a team setting is also essential. 

Within the state system, this is a Historian position, labor grade 24, 37.5 hours per week, five days a week, $48,048 to $64,974 annual salary range, depending on years of state service.
