New Audiences for Old Houses: Building a Future with a Past

The symposium addresses audience cultivation and development in historic house museums and features academics and practitioners from both the US and UK, including Cary Carson, Colonial Williamsburg Foundation (ret.), Reena Suleman, Leighton House Museum, John Walton, University of Central Lancashire, Giles Waterfield, Royal Collection Studies at the Attingham Trust, and Patricia West, National Park Service (USA).
Registration fee is $100; $40 for students. The event is hosted by TheNichols House Museum, Boston University's Art History Department and Preservation Studies Program, The Boston Athenaeum, and grants fromThe Humanities Foundation at Boston University and The National Trustfor Historic Preservation's Preservation Fund for Eastern Massachusetts.
