Linden Place's "Daycation" to Historic Hartford & Colt's Connecticut

Enjoy guided visits to Wadsworth Athenaeum, the Colt Memorial, and the Harriett Beecher Stowe House. This motor coach trip also features a narrated driving tour with step-on guide, Katrina White, formerly of the Rhode Island Department of Tourism. White will point out many Colt related buildings in the Colt Historic District including “Armsmear” the mansion built by gun inventor Samuel P. Colt. Samuel Colt’s nephew, also named Samuel P. Colt, owned and lived at Linden Place and was the grandson of George DeWolf, who built Linden Place.
Included is a boxed lunch at Wadsworth Athenaeum, a musical dinner program at the Mystic Hilton featuring traditional sear faring songs, and round-trip transportation from Bristol. The cost for Linden Place members and their guests is $119.00 and $129.00 for non-members.
