Heart Bombs Workshop!
February 6, 2016 |
The YPA PGH team is bringing Hearts Bombs to Pittsburgh!
Started by Young Preservationists in Buffallo, NY in 2012, the Heart Bomb Project is a cheeky campaign with a positive punch. The premise is simple: Construct old-fashioned valentines to your favorite buildings that need some love, and post them to the front of the building on Valentine's Day to show everyone how much you really care.
We'll be hosting a Heart Bomb Craft Day on Saturday, February 6th. Preservationists are invited to come together to construct Valentines of all sizes that have phrases such as, "Love Me, Don't Leave Me", "Invest in Me", and "Let Me Be Yours".
Not so crafty? Not a problem! We'll also be brainstorming ideas for another Valentines-day themed Missed Connections campaign, as well as Valentine's Letters on behalf of some of our favorite Pittsburgh places and spaces.
Then join us February 13th to "bomb" some to-be-announced locations! Stay tuned for more details!
