The Manitoba Professional Planners Institute will be co-hosting the next Canadian Institute of Planners national conference in Winnipeg, Manitoba – from July 13 to 16, 2008. You are cordially invited, to experience ‘Friendly Manitoba’ http://www.travelmanitoba.com/ and its provincial capital, http://www.destinationwinnipeg.ca/ to actively participate in what will be a ‘legacy’ conference with a rich engaging mix of inquiry, celebration and inspiration.
We will focus on Planning by Design in Community as a route to Making Great Places – a possible new mission for planning. Major tracks will include: In the City; In the Country; In the Region; and In the World. Take note now of our ‘Call for Proposals’, on the CIP web-site http://www.cip-icu.ca/English/conference/2008callforproposals.htm – and consider making a submission to make yourself a major player in the conference. You’ll be in good company! (The submission deadline is November 1st, 2007). There will be keynote plenary presentations each day. |
