A Song, A Dance, and A Story to Be Told @ Iroquois Indian Museum

Iroquois storytelling
Join Mohawk storyteller Kay Olan for a delightful afternoon of yarn spinning and tale-telling for young and old alike. Olan carries on the oral traditions and teaching stories she learned from elder Tom Porter and members of the Fadden family. A storyteller for more than 30 years, Olan has a gentle way of sharing her heritage, breaking down stereotypes, and offering guidance regarding the challenges that we share. This event is made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature
