Construction History Society of America's 7th Biennial Meeting on Construction History
June 2-4, 2022 |
The Construction History Society of America announces their rescheduled 7th Biennial Meeting on Construction History this summer.
Kennesaw State University and the College of Architecture and Construction Management are delighted to host this conference June 2-4, 2022 on their historic mid-century campus in Marietta, GA. Founded in 1832, Marietta is the county seat and we will highlight the marble industry in North Georgia as well as the 19th century quarry owners who amassed huge fortunes.
Keynote speakers Brandon Clifford (MIT, Matter Design) and Ece Erdogmus (Georgia Tech) are featured, as well as a tour to a working quarry and a hands-on stone carving workshop. Over 30 abstracts of cutting edge research will be presented, and CHSA is pleased to invite our construction history colleagues to Marietta to network in person!
