McMenamins History by the Pint
July 28, 2008 |
Join us for a new summer event, sponsored by the Oregon Historical Society, Holy Names Heritage Center and McMenamins, in which you'll hear lively local or regional history (beer! nudity! suffragists!) while you enjoy a frosty pint or two of handcrafted ale. Our first topic is, fittingly, one presented by our own company historian Tim Hills. Gather in the Parsons Room at Kennedy School every last Monday of the month.
- July 28: "McMenamins History by the Pint"
- August 25: "Music on the Cusp: From Folk to Acid Rock in Portland Coffeehouses, 1967-1970"
- September 29: "Neither Head Nor Tail to the Campaign: Why Oregon Women Won the Vote in 1912"
