Hauntings at The Hermitage
Join us for Hauntings at The Hermitage on Saturday October 25, 2014, for an evening of historic mystery and fright! The event will be divided into two sessions--one for families with young children, and one for visitors 13 and up. Activities will include Haunted Hay Rides, Trick or Treating, a murder mystery puzzle and much more!

Family Session from 4-7pm

After Dark Session from 7pm-10pm Not recommended for children under the age of 13

HAUNTINGS FAMILY SESSION

4:00-7:00 pm, October 25, 2014

Designed for families with children ages 12 and under, Hauntings Family Session will include all those favorite elements of Hauntings in a less-scary setting. Activities include:

*Haunted Hay Ride (Rides limited to one per person.)

*Presidential Trick or Treat--More candy than ever this year!

*Historic Crafts—Make a raven fly and a jack jump!

*Historic Games

*Potion-making

*Storytellers

*Live music with The Travelling Caudells

*Pumpkin Decorating

*Mansion Ghost Tours

*Mystery Trail—Based on tales from Edgar Allan Poe, follow clues to solve a crime!

*Food Carts--Available for additional purchase.

*Museum Store
 

HAUNTINGS AFTER-DARK SESSION

7:00-10:00; Not recommended for children under age 13

*Haunted Hay Ride—Rides limited to one per person.

*Presidential Trick or Treat—More candy than ever before!

*Historic Crafts—Jumping jacks. Edgar Allan Poe magnets

*Spirit Photography—The Vacant Chair Photography Studio specializes in taking photographs by the wet plate method, common to the mid-19th century. Can you spot orbs, skeletons, and other spectral phenomena?

*Murder Mystery Trail—Follow clues to solve a murder case, inspired by the stories of Edgar Allan Poe.

*Potion-making

*Storytellers

*Live music—The Traveling Caudells

*Mansion Ghost Tours

*Fortune Tellers
