Open-to-View Tour: Polson House
October 5, 2014 |
Built in 1906 for businessman Perry Polson, this elegant Craftsman residence was designed by Josenhans and Allen, and had remained in the same family ownership up until 2000. The home combines a three-sided verandah with pointed arched wood balusters, a round tower and turret, and broad hipped and gabled roofs.
The current owners have done extensive work including rebuilding and replacing windows; updating the kitchen; adding new terraces and garden areas; repainting the exterior in historically appropriate colors; and repairing over 200 rafter tails to make the house shine once again!
Pre-registration required. To register, go to our website or call (206) 622-6952, ext. 221.
