Lecture on the Plaza: Lewis and Clark and American Indians

Join Dr. Brad Tennant, Associate Professor of History, Presentation College,
Aberdeen, South Dakota, as he commemorates the role of the numerous American Indian nations who met Lewis and Clark during their 1804-1806 expedition. Special emphasis is given toward the Indian nations encountered in present day South and North Dakota, although many other groups and individuals will be included in the discussion. Enjoy a lecture on Historic Main Street; Celebrity Hotel outdoor venue; 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.; admission by donation. In case of inclement weather, the lecture will be moved to the Homestake Adams Research and Cultural Center (HARCC).
