Lincoln's Lebanon
September 24-25, 2016 |
Lincoln's Lebanon is a free Civil War reenactment at Memorial Park in Lebanon, Indiana.
Come and see Abraham Lincoln give a speech to local citizens, just like he did in 1861 when his train stopped in Lebanon on the way to Washington D.C. for his inauguration.
Witness a Civil War Battle each day at 2 pm (complete with cannons!) Walk through the soldiers' campsites and learn about Civil War era medicine and embalming. Visit various vendors and see their wares.
This event is free and open to the public and is made possible by the Boone County Historical Society.
