PSBBF Cal Price Creative Writing Workshops @ Pearl S. Buck Birthplace

April 16 - September 17, 2016
PSBBF Cal Price Creative Writing Workshops @ Pearl S. Buck Birthplace
The Pearl S. Buck Birthplace Foundation, through a grant from the Pocahontas County Convention and Visitors Bureau Calvin W. Price Appalachian Enrichment Series, presents the 2016 PSBBF Creative Writing Workshops.

What’s In Your Blood?
Finding expression in your memories and experience
  • April 16th, 2016 – Cheryl Denise  -  Poetry
  • June 23th, 2016 – Cat Pleska – Memoir
  • September 17th, 2016 – Eric Fritzius – Fiction

In keeping with the vision statement of the PSSBF:
To maintain the house and property of the birthplace of Pearl S. Buck and to foster her wish expressed in the book My Mother’s House that it should be a living "gateway to new thoughts and dreams and ways of life" wherein art, music and education are valued and promoted…

All workshops will be held at the Sydenstricker Cabin on the Pearl S. Buck Birthplace Museum property on Route 219 in Hillsboro, West Virginia, from 1:00pm until 4:30pm in the afternoon.  Beginning, intermediate and advanced writers are welcome and encouraged to attend these open-to-the public workshops.

Workshop fee is $10.00 per person.  Advanced registrations are accepted but not required.  Attendees should bring writing materials.  Light refreshments will be served.

To pre-register, please call the PSBBF at 304.653.4430 or email at info@pearlsbuckbirthplace.com.
