Retrace the footsteps of celebrated pioneer James G. Swan in the Columbia Pacific Heritage Museum’s latest exhibit, Swan’s Land: Photographs by Rich Bergeman, featuring more than 20 black-and-white infrared prints of sites frequented by Swan when the celebrated adventurer lived on Willapa Bay in the mid-1800s. Photographer Rich Bergeman has been a writer, editor, and educator during his journalistic career, and an exhibiting fine art photographer for the past 30 years. Much of that time has been devoted to exploring the fringes of the Pacific Northwest in search of forgotten histories and vanishing places. Swan’s Land: Photographs by Rich Bergeman will be on view May 13 – July 13, 2016.
