The Old House Fair in Bellefonte, PA

Planned for Friday, April 28 and Saturday, April 29, 2017, the Old House Fair in Bellefonte is a marketplace of ideas and workshops about the built environment left to us by our predecessors. It’s about cozy Craftsman cottages, stately Second Empire dwellings, exuberant Queen Anne houses, simple stone structures from George Washington’s era and the joyful amalgam of historic buildings that constitute the downtowns of many Pennsylvania communities. Saturday's programming and tours will highlight topics ranging from period interiors to masonry, plumbing and electrical issues faced by the owners of old homes and commercial buildings. Friday's programs will have a professional focus on economic development and historic preservation. Continuing education credit is available to qualified professionals for an additional fee.
