Victoria 2017

After much deliberation, the SAH MDR Board has decided to slide our annual conference from Fall 2016 to June 2017. For the Baker City and Sun Valley proposals, we could not wrangle a local team, which is critical to the success of our conference. Therefore, this year's SAH MDR conference has been moved to June 16-19, 2017.
The committee gelled, the venue we wanted was available, and the stars aligned for June 2017 in Victoria, BC. Stalwart members Martin Segger and Hal Kalman will be our leads in this endeavor and have promised a great conference for all!
Our principal venue will be the Wentworth Villa, a new heritage museum focused on residential architecture. It is based in an 1863 house, at the time the largest residence in Victoria and possibly west of the Rockies. For more details on the venue, visit Wentworth Villa.
In summary:
* No SAH MDR conference in Fall 2016.
* Mark your calendars for June 16-19, 2017, for Victoria, BC.
* Attendees of the 2015 conference in Ashland will automatically have their membership renewed and extended to the June 2017 conference in Victoria.
* For those that did not attend the 2015 conference, we will be sending out membership renewals very soon.
* The Call for Papers for the 2017 conference will be sent out in Fall 2016.
We are sorry for the change in our fall conference routine, but it was the only way we could build a quality conference. This move to June 2017 will give a chance for those that have had difficulty attending our fall conference (particularly those in academia) and take advantage of the gorgeous summer weather in Victoria!
All of our past conference documents are stored in the University of Oregon archives. However, since 1999, we have been saving our past conference programs and reports on our website. Photos since our 2011 conference are stored on our Flickr account. If you have photos you would like to share, send them to the contact email address below and we will post them with full credit due.
