Hats off To Mom @ Historic Rosedale Plantation

Join us for a special look at hats & head wear through the ages. Our plantation house has seen over 200 years of history and so many different styles & trends have come and gone. You’ll see different hats and examples of how millinery fashion changed as displayed through the many rooms of the home. As part of this special program our prized green silk bonnet, one of the oldest locally made textiles, will be on display for these three days only. We encourage you to wear your favorite hat and come on out to Rosedale for a one of a kind hats off experience. For an extra Mother’s Day treat, those who register by May 10 will get $2 off the regular admission rate. Light refreshment to be served in the English Basement Kitchen for those on these special tours.
Tours at 1:30 & 3:00 on Thursday, Friday, & Sunday: May 11, 12, & 14 (no tours Saturday, May 13 due to private event)
