The 2017 Memphis Heritage Preservation Series

The 2017 Memphis Heritage Preservation Series will meet on all four Mondays in March. Our theme this year is "Landmarks in Memphis Music."
2017 Presentations will be held onMarch 6, 13, 20, and 277:00 - 8:30 pm at Howard Hall, 2282 Madison Ave at Edgewood.
Series Topics:
- Why Memphis? What makes our city such a special place for music creativity
- Who Made the Music Happen?
- The Inside Scoop: Pictures from Inside the Music
- What is a Recording Studio and what sets one apart from the others
- Repurposing Buildings for Recording Studios: How Did That Happen and Why?
- A personal tour of one of Memphis' most famous studios.
The registration fee is $50 for MHI members, $75 for non-members.Take this opportunity to become a member and sign up for the membership price!
Registration is for the complete series; individual class tickets are not available. Nights for specific topics and speakers will be posted on our website and Facebook.
