Gravestone Restoration Workshop
September 16-17, 2017 |
Michael Angelicola will demonstrate how to restore gravestones at the Plymouth Burying Ground in Plymouth, CT. The topics will include types and mixes of mortars, how to tailor the treatment to the kind of stone, and gravestone carving. The workshops run from 9am-5pm each day. The class on September 16 will begin with a tour of the 1747 graveyard.
The workshop is free but donations will be accepted at the end of each day.
