RevitalizeWA 2014
May 6-8, 2014 |
The Washington Trust for Historic Preservation and the Washington State Main Street Program invite you to join us for RevitalizeWA 2014, the Preservation and Main Street Conference, to be held May 6-8 in Wenatchee. This three-day conference will feature a variety of sessions relating to the revitalization of Washington’s historic downtowns. The conference provides workshops, panel discussions, educational sessions, tours, bookstore, silent auction, networking receptions, the announcement of the WTHP’s Most Endangered Historic Properties and the annual Excellence on Main Awards Reception.
We are delighted that Charles R. Wolfe, author of Urbanism Without Effort (Island Press, 2013), will be the 2014 RevitalizeWA keynote speaker. Chuck provides a unique perspective about cities as both a long time writer and photographer about urbanism worldwide and as an attorney in Seattle, where he focuses on land use and environmental law and permitting. In particular, his work involves the use of sustainable development techniques and innovative land use regulatory tools on behalf of both the private and public sectors.
