Oswego Heritage Council Historic Home Tour

Historic Home Tour on May 17,, 2014

To help us celebrate National Historic Preservation Month, and in recognition of our community’s historic past and architectural diversity, Oswego Heritage Council announces its 6th Lake Oswego Historic Home Tour. On Saturday, May 17, 2014 from 11:00am to 4:00pm, the council will celebrate the beauty of Lake Oswego by showcasing historic homes and gardens.

Saturday, May 17, docents will be on hand at the historic homes in Lake Oswego as part of Oswego Heritage Council’s Historic Home Tour, answering your questions about each home’s architectural past.

Tickets are limited in number, and may can be purchased now by visiting our website at http://www.oswegoheritage.org/events/hometour.html and/or by visiting the Oswego Heritage House at 398 Tenth Street, Lake Oswego, Oregon. The cost per ticket is $35. Members of Oswego Heritage Council please buy your tickets at OHC or online. Once you have purchased your tickets come to Oswego Heritage House on May 17th after 11:00 a.m. to pick up your tour book and start your tour. We would like to acknowledge our Premier Sponsor, Cascade Sotheby’s International Realty. Distinguished Sponsors are Paul Schatz Furniture.  Private Client Advisor’s / Fireman’s Fund, and City of Lake Oswego Lake Oswego Review, Willamette Valley Vineyards.

P.S.

Ladies, I know you have girlfriends with whom you haven’t spent the day in a long time. The other day we had a group of women who bought Home Tour tickets together. What fun, spend the day with friends, look at beautiful homes, help out Lake Oswego’s only museum, and then end up at your favorite restaurant for Happy Hour.

If you’ve ever wished walls could talk, consider your wish granted.
