Exciting discoveries are being made every day at Poplar Forest, where archaeological explorations of the landscape are slowly revealing Mr. Jefferson’s original plans for his gardens. Join the scientists working on the ongoing digs and restoration efforts for a tour of their private archaeology lab and an update on their recent finds.
Admission to the Archaeology Behind-the-Scenes Tours is free with your regular admission to Poplar Forest. Hourly tours begin at 11:15 a.m.
