21st Annual Holiday House Tour

The Historical Society of Islip Hamlet will host its 21st annual Holiday House Tour Sun., Dec. 7th (rain/shine/snow) from 12N-5 pm. Several historically and/or architecturally interesting homes will be decorated for the holidays as tour guides in Victorian dress greet you at each home. The reception, held at one of Islip's historic churches, includes live entertainment, refreshments, a Chinese auction and a 50/50 raffle. We will, again, be collecting toys for the USMC Toys for Tots campaign. Please donate a new, unwrapped toy. Tickets go on sale (cash or check only), starting Nov. 11th, at Nook & Cranny, 469 Main St., Islip (631-277-7600) or by mail to the society, POB 601, Islip, NY 11751. Ticket donations are $20/adult (16 yrs & older) and are non-refundable. There will be some tickets for sale on the day of the tour; prices will be $25/adult and will be sold at Nook & Cranny from 12N-2:30 pm. For more info, 631-245-0675, www.isliphamlethistory.org.
