Lecture on the Plaza: Unlocking the Mysteries of South Dakota's Outlaws

Deadwood author and historian Tom Griffith will explore the challenges of researching and writing the second edition of Outlaw Tales of South Dakota, due out in May, a book that introduces fifteen of the most dramatic events and the most daring and despicable desperadoes in the history of the Mount Rushmore State. Bring a lunch and enjoy a presentation on Historic Main Street; Celebrity Hotel outdoor venue; 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. Admission by donation. In case of inclement weather, the lecture will be moved to the Homestake Adams Research and Cultural Center (HARCC).
