235th Anniversary of Battle at House in the Horseshoe

Celebrate
“It’s Revolutionary.” Please join us for our annual reenactment of the Tory and
Whig skirmish at House in the Horseshoe August 6-7 2016. This skirmish
highlights the struggles of the N.C. backcountry as the Revolutionary War
engulfed North Carolina. The event times are 9:00-5:00 Saturday, August 6 and
9:00-4:00 Sunday, August 7. There will be activities throughout the day to
commemorate this skirmish here in the backcountry of North Carolina. Fee: $5
