Iroquois storytelling with Veronica Reitter, Seneca
Celebrate Mother’s Day with Iroquois stories and create a special keepsake with (or for) your Mom. Ronnie is an accomplished weaver of tales who grew up listening to the stories of Seneca and Cayuga elders Virginia Snow, Marion Miller, and Joyce Pemberton. As a Seneca educator, she shares her stories with children at Ganondagan Historic Site, the National Museum of the American Indian, and schools throughout the region. Her stories honor and celebrate mother earth and offer lessons for all ages. This event is made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature
