Pendleton Historic Foundation Dinner

The Pendleton Historic Foundation's annual dinner will feature Robin Lattimore,
award winning author and historian. Lattimore will share the South's role in preserving history. His program will feature his forthcoming book, Southern Splendor: Saving Architectural Treasures of the Old South. More than 50 plantation houses are included in the book highlighting the stories of families and the organizations that have worked to preserve the homes.
Prior to the dinner, the Foundation will dedicate the Meehan Pavilion during a reception at Woodburn Historic Home in Pendleton, SC. Mrs. Meehan was a longtime volunteer with the Foundation and was instrumental in keeping Woodburn from being forgotten.
Dedication at 6 p.m.
Dinner and program at 7 p.m. at Cox Hall in Pendleton, SC.
