The Wildlife of Baisley Pond

King Manor Museum is pleased to host an exhibit of photographs by local artist Marvenia Knight exploring the abundance of wildlife of Baisley Pond in Jamaica, Queens. Ms. Knight was born in Sunbury, North Carolina, a small rural town surrounded by nature which inspired her dedication to capturing natural aesthetics and calm in her work. She studied graphic design and photography at Parson New School and Empire State College both in New York City, New York. Stop by to meet the artist and view her work here. Exhibit begins on Saturday, September 10, from 1-5 pm and will continue every week-end day until Sunday, September 25.
