Hockessin Art Festival
February 24-26, 2017 |
The Wilmington & Western Railroad's Hockessin Art Festival is a fundraising effort to benefit the railroad. The all-volunteer Wilmington & Western operates steam- and diesel-powered trains year-round on 10-miles of track through Delaware's historic Red Clay Valley.
Over 25 artists will be displaying and selling limited edition prints, original watercolors, oils, acrylics, pastels, sculpture, fine jewelry and mosaics. 30% of all art sales go directly to the operation of the Wilmington & Western.
While at the Art Festival, take a break from shopping by riding the "Festival Express." Our vintage 1929 Pennsylvania Railroad railcar will depart from outside the Festival, and our friendly train crew will take you on a 40-minute round-trip through the towns of Yorklyn and Ashland.
