2018 Tour Day

October 13, 2018
2018 Tour Day
Tour Day 2018 is set to take place on October 13, 2018. This year's theme is Public Spaces - Inside and Out and is centered around Docomomo US' 2018 Advocacy Theme. (More information about the Advocacy Theme can be found at https://www.docomomo-us.org/news/public-spaces-inside-and-out)

As one of Docomomo US' annual national events, Tour Day works to raise the awareness of and appreciation for buildings, interiors, and landscapes designed in the United States during the mid-20th century. Now celebrating its twelfth anniversary, Tour Day invites organizations and people across the country to take stock of the significant 20th century built environment in their state, city, region or neighborhood and celebrate that work with a tour.

Host a Tour -

Tour Day events can be hosted by nearly anyone interested in or with access to a significant modern building or site. Tour Day events can also be much more than just a tour. Some of the best events include pre-tour lectures, meet-and-greet with the architects and post-event receptions. Register your tour or event by filling out the form below if you have an idea for a tour that celebrates modernism in your area.

More information can be found at http://docomomo-us.org/events/tour-day
