The National Lighthouse Museum, Staten Island, NY Lecture Series continues..."Ocean Frontiers III -

Ocean Frontiers III - A Unique and Hopeful Ocean Thursday, September 20, 20186:30 pm - 8:30 pm National Lighthouse Museum, 200 The Promenade, at Lighthouse Point, St. George, (adjacent to the Free Staten Island Ferry), Staten Island NY 10301

Gotham Whale  - NYC own Whale Research and Advocacy Organization, will present, Ocean Frontiers III, adocumentary produced by Green Fire Productions - creating communications tools for Conservation, Sustainability and Social Justice. A unique and hopeful ocean film that chronicles the efforts to plan for a healthy, safe and sustainable future.The film explores the interaction of national security, maritime commerce, fishing and recreation, plus exploring industries such as off shore wind energy and aquaculture coupled with scientific discovery and how ocean planninghelps manage and balance all uses of of our ocean to keep it thriving for generations to come.

At the conclusion of the documentary, there will be a panel discussion about the efforts of ocean changes in our environment through the  years.
