Window Preservation with Bob Yapp

Join legendary preservationist and window restorer Bob Yapp for a five day, hands-on learning experience on the beautiful campus of Pine Mountain Settlement School. Working in the awe-inspiring Chapel side by side with Bob Yapp, you will learn cost-effective restoration of original, wooden casement windows.
The workshop will be an intense, learn by doing opportunity. You will learn sash removal, lead safe paint & glass removal, epoxy wood repair, glazing putty application, weather stripping & sash re-installation.
Pine Mountain Settlement School is a national historic landmark located in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky. The school is a picturesque location for preservation workshops. It offers comfortable accommodations, farm-fresh meals, evening entertainment including authentic "old time" mountain music.
