Robbins first wife was Frances Folsom Cleveland Lamont the goddaughter of President Grover Cleveland. Her father was Secretary of War in President Cleveland's cabinet. Robbins second wife was Anna Robenne, a beautiful Russian ballerina. In approximately 1928 Delano and Aldrich designed an elegant ballroom (now extant) and pool.
