George Washington's Mount Vernon is seeking a Preservation Technician.  This is a  full-time, temporary, non-exempt role within the Historic Preservation and Collections Department. This position reports directly to the Architectural Research Manager. The Technician's responsibilities include supporting the mission of the Mount Vernon Ladies’ Association and the Historic Preservation and Collections department. This involves conserving, maintaining, recording, and studying the historic resources of Mount Vernon, with a primary focus on coordinating maintenance, repair, restoration, and preservation of the Mansion, outbuildings, and other historic structures. Additionally, the Technician will aid in research, documentation, architecture collection utilization, administrative tasks, outreach efforts, and cross-estate collaboration. 

Pay Information: $22.00/hour
