Rep. Seth Magaziner (D-RI) recently introduced H.R. 10116 is the House that would direct the Secretary of the Interior to submit a report to Congress on the interpretation and application of the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for Rehabilitation pertaining to the federal Historic Tax Credit. 

This legislation would require the Secretary of the Interior to report data on program applications, including average time applications are in the system. The legislation also ask for information on areas of improvement and recommendations to make the standards more compatible with affordable housing and include energy efficiency and sustainability.
