The City of Auburn is currently seeking offers for the historic Schine’s Theater, which must include a detailed plan outlining the proposed future use of the property (must remain focused on the performing arts), a comprehensive restoration approach, and an anticipated timeline.
The sale of the building will follow an open offering process, with best and final offers due by 5:00 p.m. on September 30, 2025. Click here for details.
This former theater was one of the earliest grantees from the League's New York State Council on the Arts regrant Technical Assistance Grant program. We would love to see this building become a thriving community space once again!
