Since 2020, Preservation Massachusetts has worked in partnership with The 1772 Foundation, to provide grant funding for historic buildings in Massachusetts. The Historic Preservation Matching Grant Program is a 1:1 matching grant of up to $10,000 for exterior work on historic properties owned or leased by non-profit organizations.
Across the Commonwealth our cities, towns, and villages are anchored by the historic places that weave together the story of Massachusetts and the United States of America. We are grateful for the ongoing support of The 1772 Foundation and congratulate this year’s grant recipients.
