We are pleased to announce the 2025 grant recipients of the National Grant Program, a signature initiative of the National Trust’s African American Cultural Heritage Action Fund.
This year, $3 million in grants will support twenty-four sites across the country that represent Black American joy, resilience, innovation, and activism.
This year’s awardees include the first cohort of the Action Fund's Descendant and Family Stewardship Initiative (DFS), supported by the Mellon Foundation's Humanities in Place program, and the third round of Conserving Black Modernism grants through the Action Fund's partnership with the Getty Foundation.
