We are looking for a qualified carpenter with an appreciation for traditional construction to join our team.

R&B Restoration Carpentry, Inc. specializes in the sympathetic preservation and enhancement of historic buildings. We can install new features that match original features that are in poor condition or lost. Our specialist carpenters and suppliers can achieve any preservation goal for a property.

We can read the surviving, trace evidence on a building to understand how certain features were configured, why they have become defective, and what needs to be done to repair them in a sympathetic manner.

The ideal candidate would have training through a trade school, such as the American College of Building Arts, Thaddeus Stevens, or the North Bennett Street School and 5 years of experience working on historic properties.  We pay skilled carpenters between $30/hr and $50/hr.
