This is professional, academic, and administrative work supporting the preservation program of the Office of the Senate Curator on behalf of the Senate Commission on Art (the Commission). Responsibilities include implementing standards, policies, and procedures for the preservation of the Senate’s heritage assets in the Senate wing of the Capitol and any Senate Office Building; supporting the management of restoration projects; conducting research to support outreach and project development; documenting changes to the built environment; maintaining and archiving historical records; and providing logistical and administrative support to the office.
