President Obama Signs Interior Spending Bill Into Law with Final Funding Levels for Historic Preservation

President Obama signed the FY’10 Interior Appropriations Bill (HR 2996) in law (PL 111-88) on October 30th with final funding levels for historic preservation.

As previously reported, House and Senate conferees provided $79.5 million for the Historic Preservation Fund (HPF) $25 million for the Save America’s Treasures (SAT) program, $46.5 for State Historic Preservation Offices (SHPOs), $8 million for Tribal Historic Preservation Offices (THPOs), and $4.6 million for the Preserve America (PA). SAT earmarks in the bill totaled $10.2 million and included the following projects.
