Design Associate - Alexandria, Virginia
Michael Baker International is currently seeking a Design Associate for our Alexandria, VA office.
Roles and Responsibilities: Assist architects with design, detailing, documentation and limited construction administration for government and commercial project types. Projects range from Preservation to Adaptive Reuse and are located around the world working for small local and large institutional clients.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
• 5-7 years of experience
• Revit and AutoCAD experience
• Historic Preservation and Adaptive Re-Use experience
• Familiarity with the Secretary of Interior Standards
• Field survey experience
• Archival research experience
• Ability to use Sketch up, Photoshop and Illustrator a plus
